Planning and mobility are big themes within land management, particularly relevant to inhabitants or to those who work or study in the territory, or simply visit it.

As primary themes they often cover several municipalities and represent a metropolitan interest. Even when they don’t involve the AMP’s 17 municipalities, their influence and results end up being significant for all of them.

Considering this reality, the Porto Metropolitan Area, through its Metropolitan Councillors’ Councils of Urbanism and Mobility, maintains a movement of reflection and intervention through intermunicipal projects that gather the region’s main stakeholders.
